I realized I never posted this on here but I’ve been seeing so much of him on my dash and omg remember when I saw Chris Pine and our hands touched :’D

It’s official! Yellowduckx and I are going to VidCon!
YAY! So excited to hang out with xanniesworld for three whole days filled with Youtubers and Disneyland :D I haven’t seen her in almost two years! Summer please hurry!
Lately I’ve been feeling sad/overwhelmed/stressed about the future and life in general, but last night through all of today has been pretty amazing and I think sometimes you just need one good day to make you realize life is not so bad after all. In fact, life is awesome and I’m lucky to be surrounded by such great friends & family.
Last night, we had a nail painting party again in the lounge and I was thinking about the friends I’ve made since coming to UCLA and how I love them so much already. It’s pretty incredible to think about how you meet certain people who eventually become your friends and about how maybe you wouldn’t have met them or become close to them had you been placed in a different dorm or taken a different class maybe. I don’t know why but I was thinking about all this yesterday and I’m just thankful of the friends I have here now :)
Anyways, this morning I went to volunteer to tutor these kids who live in underprivileged apartments in North Hollywood. It was a rewarding experience that I’ll be able to continue this quarter. This little girl named Ashanti became quite attached to me, which was really sweet. Coming out to places like these only reaffirms my passion for teaching and working with kids.
Then in the afternoon, I headed to the Broad Stage in Santa Monica for a benefit concert in support of P.S. Arts including performances from the Yale Whiffenpoofs and Darren Criss. It was $50 but since I didn’t know when I would ever get to see Darren again and also it was for a good cause, I decided to go. I went by myself, but it was kind of nice. The bus ride there was pretty interesting. This random guy possibly in his 30s started talking to me. At first I thought he was just a friendly guy, but by the middle of our conversation, he was creeping me out. He kept talking about how he found Asian girls really cute. I was trying to be polite, but he was asking lots of questions. Anyways, by the time I was near my destination, I got up and I overheard him telling another person that he thought I was nice and pretty and how I made him love Asian girls even more. So that was that…
But oh man, the concert was amazing. Since the $50 ticket I bought was the cheapest they offered, I was in the way back but the venue was pretty intimate so I had a decent view. The Whiffenpoofs were so great and I’m a sucker for acapella groups so they gave me goosebumps! Loved it so much! Darren Criss was incredible as usual. He’s such a captivating performer, I could listen to him forever!! He started with “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” and from then on, I could not stop smiling. Darren sang the best songs and it was such a great set :’) After the show, since I had time to kill before the bus came, I was with a couple people who were waiting for Darren to come outside. He came out eventually but was in a rush so before getting in the car, he was telling us he couldn’t take pictures with us. He was literally like three feet in front of me and I was freaking out! I yelled out “Thank you!” and he looked at me and said “Thanks!” AND SO THAT’S HOW DARREN CRISS ACKNOWLEDGED ME *___* So yeah, that might not seem like much, but I really needed this now and it was still such an amazing memory, SO THANK YOU DARREN ♥
Life is grand and I am happy :)
“Life is filled with failure, rejection, and disappointment…”
Thank you Psychology textbook. That is just what I needed to read! Woohoo, finals!
Sooo instead of studying for finals, I just spent the last four hours watching A Very Potter Senior Year (I’m taking the day off cause I finished two finals already, okay) and omg, IT WAS SO GREAT :’) I laughed and cried and ahhh the Starkids are so talented and beautiful! Seeing Darren as Harry and Joey as Ron again was amazing♥♥ and also just the fact that I got to meet a lot of them this past year :’D
and I’m sorry for the onslaught of AVPSY stuff I’ll probably reblog ^.^
Tonight I went to an A$AP Rocky concert (with surprise appearance by Kendrick Lamar!). It was pretty entertaining but omg I thought I was gonna die cause the crowd kept pushing everybody and I’m just this helpless Asian girl separated from friends and I LOST MY SHOE AT ONE POINT and I had to find it and I swear I was using two big black guys as a pillow for a couple minutes because my head was just stuck on their backs LOL. It was so crazy. I was terrified HAHA.

Just met Joey Richter at UCLA campus. Such a coincidence! Oh my god I can’t even contain my excitement :’)

SUCH AN AWESOME CONCERT. NEWFOUND LOVE FOR THIS GUY. YOU GO KRIS ALLEN!
MY ROOMMATE BROUGHT HOME A BAG OF ABOUT TWENTY MACARONS FROM CAFE 1919. GRANTED, THEY’RE A LITTLE BROKEN AND THAT’S WHY THEY WERE PUT ASIDE…
BUT I DON’T CARE ABOUT LOOKS. IT’S THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS. AND THEY ARE TASTY.
MY LIFE IS AWESOME.
Stuffing my face with sour patch kids right now…
SOMEONE TAKE THIS BAG AWAY FROM ME
I now have something to look forward to this summer! Although summer break itself is enough motivation for me haha. But ahhhh this summer is going to be the best summer ever!
First of all, my family is going on a week long Disney Cruise to the Eastern Caribbean starting June 29th! This is extremely cheesy, but the Disney Cruise forever has a special place in my heart. I went twice before, once in 2003 and another in 2004. On the 2004 Disney Cruise, I met two of my dearest friends, Xannie and Stephanie. It’s crazy that we met almost nine years ago and that we’ve been keeping in touch all these years! I’m so excited to not only be able to go aboard the Disney Cruise again, but to take this lovely vacation with Stephanie and her family too. It’s going to be awesome!
Second, I’m going on a trip to Japan with my sister and Stephanie right after the cruise for two weeks! I can’t believe this is actually going to happen. Stephanie and I had been talking for years about going to Japan together in 2013, but it always seemed so far away. And now we bought our plane tickets and it’s just a couple months away a;sldkfjaow;iejf. I can’t wait to show her around Japan since she’s from Kentucky and has never even been outside the country before. It’s going to be so fun!
I cannot contain my excitement for this upcoming summer. If I ever get bummed out or anything, I’ll just think about how much fun I’m going to have in June/July and I know it’ll motivate me to keep working hard. I still can’t believe I convinced my sister to go on the cruise and to Japan HAHA. SUMMER PLEASE HURRYYYYY.

What a year it has been. I can’t believe that I graduated from high school just six months ago. And my first quarter at UCLA was pretty great! I got to meet some pretty cool people and forge some new friendships. Stephanie and the Deans came to visit from Kentucky this summer and I also got to visit Japan by myself for the first time. This year I was lucky enough to see two of my most favorite celebrities in the US and Japan: Darren Criss and Yamapi♥ I got to listen to Darren sing twice and even got to touch Yamapi’s hand :’D
We had some ups and downs at home, but all in all, 2012 was an unforgettable year and I’m so glad to be surrounded by such wonderful friends and family. Here’s to an even better 2013 ^.^
